Throughout his 15+ years career, Dr. Abraham has developed a special interest in helping people with sleep apnea and TMJ problems that led him to pursue and complete a part-time residency at the UCLA School of Dentistry in the specialty area of Dental Sleep Medicine and Orofacial Pain & TMJ Dysfunction.

Quickly after, he started delivering this cutting-edge treatment to our patients all over Orange County.
The treatment option is an oral appliance therapy. Based on specific circumstances, oral appliance therapy can be the ultimate solution for managing snoring and sleep apnea.

Dr. Smetko’s dental career spans 47 years, 38 of which he has spent as a private practitioner here in Santa Ana. Dr. Smetko is an advocate for conservative treatment which is why he developed a strong interest for oral appliance therapy.

As part of his continued education, he has specialized in helping patients overcome snoring, obstructive sleep apnea, and TMJ dysfunction.

Dr. Nawar is known for her experience in comprehensive dentistry and her immense interest in the newest dental techniques. After graduating the University of Minnesota and acquiring her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2010.

Dr. Nawar has continued to expand her practical experience in various areas of dental medicine. She was drawn to Dental Sleep Medicine in particular because of the effectiveness of this new type of treatment.
